The Black Pig's Nature Trail Quiz

Fresh from the archives is this informative Black Pig's Nature Trail Quiz prepared by Cora and Liam Murtagh which was created for the very first Muckno Mania Festival in 1999 and never seen since.

Now 20 years later you can collect a copy of the trail from Budz on Main Street and complete the trail giving answers to clues.

Shop Window Displays

The festival window display competition aptly has the theme “20 Years of Mania” and as always, we are inviting shop owners to participate.  Shop owners have been asked to create a recognisable scene in their window that is likely to draw attention and create a sense of awe.

Displays will be adjudicated on their suitability to the theme and will be marked under various categories. Displays to be in place by Monday 2nd July.

Residential Outdoor Displays

This competition is open to homes in the Castleblayney area that have a front garden or an open residential space that is in view to the general public. Basically, we want you to use the Festival theme “20 Years of Mania” to create a scene which can be seen by the passer by.

If you have entered this competition be sure and let us know by ringing 042 9746087.
